Is there a cheat for pets in Sims 4? ›

With TestingCheats enabled, you can shift-click your pets to add or remove personalities such as what appliances or other objects your pet fears or loves. You can also shift-click your pet to fully edit the animal in Create a Pet in case you want to change their gender or Pet Traits.

Become Best Friends with Animals

Like with human Sims, your Sim can befriend and become Best Friends with Birds, Chickens, Cows, Foxes, Llamas, and Rabbits. To do this instantly, Shift-Click on the Animal > "Cheat Relationship" > "Set Max Friendship."

Make sure that the dog/cat getting pregnant is in your household, and then when you click 'Encourage to Mate With...' and after your dog/cat mates, you have to wait about a day. During this time, keep mating your dog/cat and then eventually it'll say that your pet is pregnant.

The free way to adopt a pet is to adopt a stray. When mousing over any pet out in the neighborhood, the word "Stray" in red font will appear on their nameplate if they are unowned. If your Sim befriends the pet off their home lot and raises the relationship meter high enough, the "Adopt" social interaction will appear.

Have a human Sim interact with an owned pet and select the "Encourage to Mate With…," then your target. It's not a guaranteed command, however. Pets often don't want to mate with strangers or strays. The command will make your pet approach the target, but what happens from there may not be a good thing.

To skip your third trimester, type in sims. add_buff buff_pregnancy_trimester3. To skip your pregnancy altogether, type in sims. add_buff buff_pregnancy_inlabor and you're Sim will go into labor.

Pets can also be trained to do tricks using the "Training…" social interaction followed by the exact trick you want to teach. Tricks have little use outside of socialization. You can order pets to show off tricks to other human Sims to get relationship boosts, and you can have dogs train and use obstacles for fun.

The Cats and Dogs Expansion Pack finally brings pet ownership to the world of The Sims 4. Although horses are no longer in the franchise, there are plenty of felines and canines ready to adopt among your Sims families. Pets can also be created in Create a Pet alongside Sims in Create a Sim.

It is only necessary if the Sim question wishes to run a veterinarian clinic. Sims cannot be veterinarians as a conventional career, so it's unlikely a first-generation Sim will need this skill until they get wealthy enough to own their own business.

With the cheats enabled, players should enter "sims. give_satisfaction_points x", replacing 'x' with their desired number of satisfaction points. For example, if a player wishes to acquire 1000 satisfaction points, they can input the cheat code as "sims. give_satisfaction_points 1000."

Simoleon Gnome
